Company History

As a leader in the aircraft composite industry for over 12 years, TCB Composite Company actively engages in securing aircraft-related markets, including the SkyWalker VTOL. The TCB owner's and operators' involvement with complex production project in the aerospace and aviation industries span over 22 years.

 

TCB Composite has aggressively found new methods to fabricate stronger, lighter, and more elegant aircraft assemblies and unique parts. This experience arrives from a hallmark in manufacturing advanced direct replacement aviation components to designs incorporating composite FAA certified items.

 

During the last decade, TCB Composite developed, tested, and received 34 STC's (Standard Type Certificates) which shape over 130 FAA approved spinners and bulkheads for Piper, Cessna, and other aircraft. This list continues to grow as new aircraft items receive FAA approval.

 

Several of these projects include:

 

COMSAT/RSI

    Produced critical components for the FAA-TACAN antenna, including over 200 ultra-lightweight 94" long by 24" diameter, 7 pound composite rotating drums.

 

Shafer Aircraft

    Produced complex cowlings and air inlet ducts

 

Alliant Tech

    Designed 10 foot diameter Titan Rocket enclosure disks

 

Lockheed/NASA

    Manufactured numerous test panels for Lockheed engineers preparatory to designing the Space Station Freedom.

    High fight altitude parabolic shaped communication antenna fabrication. Incorporated honeycomb, graphite prepregs, and signal generating reflective surfaces
